The Daytona Beach Poker Room will be hosting The Battle of the Bar Leagues!  It will be Big Stacks Poker League vs. Texas Hold'em Poker Tours.  The battle will take place over 4 tournaments during the next 6 months.  See below for the schedule.  Unlike our regular mini-deepstacks tournaments, this tournament will be EXCLUSIVELY for players from both leagues.  Players must get an invitation from a nightly dealer.  You must have your invitation the day of each tournament in order to play!  Players MUST declare for which league they will be playing, and cannot change for the duration of the battle. Big Stacks players will earn 2,000 extra chips in the next quarterly for playing in a tournament.  In addition, you will receive 1,000 extra chips (each) for 2 merchandise items (hat/shirt/jewelry) and 1,000 for your BSPL card protector.  Merchandise MUST be worn and card protectors MUST be used.  Players who play in all 4 tournaments will receive an additional 5,000 chips in the April, 2016 quarterly Players will earn cash prizes, just as you would in any other tournament.  In addition, the final 10 players will earn individual points as well as points for their respective league.  The top 2 players with the most points at the end of the 4th tournament will earn additional cash prizes. Each league will earn league points for number of players attending and the individual final table players.  The league with the most points will get a luncheon at the May mini-deepstacks tournament.  There will be special promotions during each tournament. Here's the schedule (start time will be 11:10am): October 31st    Every player gets a Halloween gift bag.  3 gift bags will have a $50 seat into the next tournament December 12th    Everyone gets a candy cane and there will be a raffle for presents February 6th    First 3 players with aces full with both hole cards will get their buy-in back April 2nd    All players will receive a drink ticket, AND bounties on the heads of both league owners!
